Our Services
At St Mellion Dental Clinic, we believe in giving you the best care possible.
Practice Policy
It is our practice policy to see our patients at regular intervals to maintain their dental health, and help prevent extensive (and expensive) dental problems. In order to remain registered with our clinic, and eligible for emergency treatment, you are required to attend for regular routine examinations. These examinations will be at periods individually tailored to your dental needs. We send all our registered patients check-up reminders.
Private or NHS?
All our adult patients are seen as private patients. This means that we are able to offer a full range of cosmetic treatments and use materials and procedures unavailable on the NHS. We believe that Private Care gives patients the opportunity to improve their dental health and appearance and not just patch-up emergency problems.
Children of our registered adults are very welcome to attend our surgery as NHS patients. We also offer a variety of dental insurance and payment plans, including Denplan Care. Please ask for full details.
Fees
Our fees are displayed below. After assessment and discussion of your requirements we give you a printed estimate of cost and a treatment plan for you to consider before you proceed with any treatment. We expect that patients will pay for their care as it is provided, and payment may be made by cheque, cash, or all major debit and credit cards.
We provide private dental care based on our running costs. The cost of your care depends on the time allocated for your treatment and the cost of any laboratory work.
As a guide, the costs of some private treatments are given here. You will be given a full estimate and treatment plan after examination and advised of any proposed changes during a course of treatment.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to ask a team member. Please also ask about our payment policies and the different ways of paying.
